Guardian will receive the following updates through a phased deployment occurring October 7-9, 2026.
Enhancements:
Case Merge Event Selection
Events will now be available as a selectable option when merging cases, allowing existing event data to be preserved.

Event Type Configuration by Incident Type
Administrators can configure which Event Types are available for each Incident Type.
Enabled Event Types will be available when managing cases associated with the corresponding Incident Type.
Disabled Event Types will be hidden and unavailable for selection.
The configuration applies to both new and existing cases based on the case's current Incident Type.

Bug Fixes:
Custom Report Builder Violation Data
Resolved an issue that could cause Violation information to appear blank or incorrect when Case Outcome or Rationale entities were included in a custom report.
Violation data will now populate correctly with or without these additional entities.
Overall Statistics Calculations
Total Cases Closed will count distinct closed cases rather than individual closure events.
Statistics associated with bulk reopening and discarding cases will calculate correctly.
Total Incidents Reported will align with the incident-type breakdown.
Cases will no longer be counted more than once by location after their location is changed.
Involved Party Dissociation
Resolved an issue that could prevent a user from being removed from a case when no involved-party role was assigned.
Custom Field Labels and Report Exports
Custom field labels containing special characters, such as a period (.), will display correctly in the Custom Report Builder.
These labels will also display correctly in generated reports and Excel exports.
Workflow Completion Without Checklists
Resolved an issue that could prevent a case from moving to the next workflow stage when the current stage did not contain a checklist.
Workflow stages without checklists will now be handled as valid, allowing cases to progress normally through the Workflow.
