Enhancements:

Email Notification Safeguards

  • Added validation to the Send Email workflow to confirm that the required notification combination is enabled before Guardian records an email as sent.

  • If the applicable combination is disabled in Notification Settings, for example, Send Email (Email → Email → No), Guardian will prevent the message from being recorded as sent and display a clear notification to the sender.

  • Super Admins will now receive a confirmation warning before disabling notification settings that control essential email functionality.

Full Database Extraction

  • Expanded the Full Database Extraction to include case outcomes, events, risks, interventions, intervention checklists, checklists, forms, and completed forms.

  • Completed Form attachments will be included in a corresponding attachment ZIP file.

  • Related Cases and Title IX information will now be included in the existing case export. Multiple values will appear as comma-separated entries.

Accessibility Improvements

  • Addressed 21 tracked accessibility findings across Login, Case Details, Reports, Students, Employee, System Log, Account, and Configurations. These updates improve keyboard navigation, accessible names and labels, screen-reader announcements, form grouping, data-table structure, page-tab behavior, and the roles and states of interactive controls. View the complete list in Guardian Accessibility Improvements.


Bug Fixes:

Involved Party Notification Names

  • Resolved an issue where an Involved Party Add notification displayed the Case Owner's name instead of the name of the person who was added.

  • The notification will now identify the correct involved party.

Case Update Stability

  • Resolved a technical error that could occur when updating a case while Guardian processed involved-party information.

  • Added validation to prevent this error from recurring.

View Only and Case Assigner Access

  • Corrected how Guardian processes blank Location and Building values in the User Level Access import for View Only and Case Assigner roles.

  • A blank/undefined Location field in the file will now provide access to all locations, while a blank Building will provide access to all buildings within the applicable location.

Notification Settings for Deleted Incident Types

  • Resolved an issue where notification settings associated with deleted or nonexistent Incident Types continued to appear.

  • Guardian will now display notification settings only for active and existing Incident Types.

Custom Report Event Data

  • Resolved an issue where event participants could be omitted from custom reports when they were not also listed as an Involved Party.

  • Custom reports will now include users added as event participants, even if they were not also added as an Involved Party.
